OFI Interns Promote SI Fellowships and Internships at CAPAL in DC

On Friday, July 18, 2014 OFI interns promoted SI internship and fellowship opportunities at the Conference for Asian Pacific American Leadership’s Career and Internship Fair. Hosted at the National Education Association, interns Lia Ferro and Maddie Wittich, together with Krista Aniel from the Smithsonian’s Asian Pacific American Center, networked with hundreds of attendees interested in academic appointments at the Smithsonian. This important CAPAL outreach event is one of the many exciting opportunities in which SI interns get to participate. We are grateful for their enthusiasm and professionalism in helping SI grow our internship and fellowship program.
