Interns Stage a Coup at NASM

On Wednesday July 30th, National Space and Air Museum (NASM) Interns took over the Museum’s social media channels for a day. Samantha Guter, a social media intern, led the takeover and rallied her fellow interns to participate using #InternTakeover to document the day. #InternTakeover allowed staff and the public to see the Museum through the perspective of interns. The mission was a success because Sarah Banks, the manager of social media for NASM, reported that #InternTakeover tweets were seen over 150,000 times. That’s three times their daily average for July!
