The Daily Toreador just published an article highlighting future Smithsonian Institution Libraries (SIL) fellow Dr. Keira Williams and her approach to understanding the role of women and feminism through the lens of warrior princess of the Amazons - Wonder Woman.

Dr. Williams taught a class this past semester looking at the female experience through the 20th century in America through the mass media existence of DC Comic’s most famous female superhero. Wonder Woman, already a comic and TV presence, is set to make her silver screen debut in the next few years, with her own stand alone movie coming out in the near future. Dr. Williams plans to come to the Smithsonian to continue research on Wonder Woman.
