On July 17, National Museum of American History (NMAH) Archives Center interns and fellows gave a tour to showcase the projects they’ve been engaged in over their time at NMAH.

Intern Tyler Stump from the University of Maryland iSchool has helped process the Heinz Joseph Gerber Papers and the Gerber Scientific Instrument Company Records while documenting Gerber’s inventive life in the development of computer-aided design CAD/CAM systems. Fellow Lucy Mensah from Vanderbilt University has processed and researched the Scurlock Studio Records as material that will be used in her dissertation on Post-War America and Black Urban Street Life.
