Zachary Mennona: To Infinity and Beyond!

Appalachian State University rising senior, Zachary Mennona is spending his summer greeting visitors at the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum (NASM) as an intern with the visitor services department.

“Since joining the NASM’s front desk staff, I have had the honor and privilege of meeting a variety of people who have helped shape American history — from veteran World War II pilots and educators to astronauts, including Robert ‘Hoot’ Gibson,” he said.
