OFMR Summer Internship Applications Now Open!

Facilities Management Academic Track Internship Applications Now Open for Summer 2016!

The Smithsonian Office of Facilities Management and Reliability (OFMR), which operates and maintains the facilities of the Smithsonian Institution, is currently accepting applications for summer 2016 interns.

Intern candidates interested in applying for the Academic Track should be currently participating in a four year degree course of study leading to a bachelor’s degree, a graduate level degree, or be a recent graduate (within 1-2 years of graduation).

Over the course of their time with OFMR, Academic Track interns have the opportunity to learn through participation in Smithsonian FM projects, network, and participate in professional development workshops. Interns also have a lot of opportunities to have fun-whether it be ice cream socials, team building activities, or behind-the-scenes tours, OFMR tries to make learning about facility management at the Smithsonian a “Seriously Amazing” experience.
