Smithsonian Fellows and Interns, NPS Rangers at the Thomas Jefferson Memorial

Last week Smithsonian fellows and interns toured the Memorials on the National Mall with National Park Service (NPS) Rangers. On Monday November 30, 2015 they toured the Memorials of the Tidal Basin, visiting the Martin Luther King, Jr., Franklin Delano Roosevelt, and Thomas Jefferson Memorials. On Wednesday December 2, 2015 they toured the Memorials of the Reflecting Pool, stopping at the Lincoln, the Vietnam Veterans, and the Korean War Veterans Memorials.

Smithsonian Fellows and Interns visited many of Washington, D.C.’s most prominent memorials, learning about their history and symbolism from knowledgeable NPS Rangers.
