The Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute (STRI) Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) Integrative Tropical Biology internship is a 10 week internship available to eligible applicants. The internship focuses on the integration of different biological systems to explore the origins, maintenance and preservation of biodiversity. Interns will have the opportunity to conduct research under the mentorship of STRI faculty. Additionally, interns will receive airfare, a food and housing allowance, and a $5,000 stipend to defray expenses.

The deadline to apply for research undergraduate experience is February 15, 2016.
