Elke Seibert was a Terra Foundation Fellow at the Smithsonian American Art Museum (SAAM) in 2012, and went on to return in both 2013 and 2014 as a Short Term Visitor.

Seibert has recently moved across the ocean and landed in Paris for a new fellowship at the German Center for the History of Art. While in Paris, Seibert is researching the influence of prehistoric cave art on the genesis of contemporary art, specifically art from 1930-60 in Paris and New York.

To learn more about Seibert’s research read the German Center for the History of Art blurb here.
