Smithsonian Hits a Home Run with New Fellow

Rayvon Fouché / 2004

Through his studying of American culture, Rayvon Fouché has become a highly respected historian, and his work throughout his career has earned his place as one of principle researchers in his field. While being a professor at Purdue University, Fouché has written several books pertaining to his primary studies of technology and race.

The Smithsonian Institution is proud to announce Fouché as the inaugural Arthur Molella Distinguished Fellow. He will continue his work on The Machine in the Game: Technology, Design, and the Evolution of Contemporary Sport at the National Museum of American History (NMAH).
