Five students, Jose Ortega, Megan Petersen, Dianne Archuleta, Terrin Hearst and Cassidy Nemick, from the Colorado State University-Pueblo (CSU-Pueblo) are preparing to travel to Washington DC for the summer! Partially due to a partnership that began with CSU-Pueblo’s involvement with the Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities (HACU), these students are preparing for an enriching summer.
These five students will be interns at various museums at the Smithsonian Institution from June 1, 2016 to July 1, 2016. These internships are comprised from the National Museum of American History (NMAH) Lemelson Center for the Study of Innovation and Invention, the Archives of American Art (AAA), the National Postal Museum (NPM), and Smithsonian Facilities (SF) Emergency Management.
