Steven Moreno-Terrill worked in the Smithsonian Latino Museum Studies Program (LSMP) this past summer.

Steven Moreno-Terrill, a fellow with the Smithsonian Latino Museum Studies Program (LSMP) spent the summer helping Smithsonian curators document the history of Spanish-language television in the United States between the 1950s and 1980s. He worked with curators at the National Museum of American History (NMAH) to tell the story of broadcasting in Spanish by collecting objects and conducting oral histories with current and former employees of networks and independent stations across the United States.

Steven’s story was recently featured in an article in his schools’ newspaper UCR Today, which you can read here.
