German/American Provenance Research Exchange Program (PREP)

A German made Blüthner piano sits on the first floor of the National Museum of American History (NMAH).
The Smithsonian Institution is a partner with the German/American Provenance Research Exchange Program (PREP). PREP is the first systematic, international exchange program for researchers and museum professionals who focus on World War II-era provenance projects. The primary goal of the three-year program is to create a collaborative network of German and American art museum professionals and of experts in research institutions that support museum work, including curators, provenance researchers, archivists, lawyers, and specialists in digital humanities.
PREP is currently accepting applications for the spring semester through Friday, 11/18/16.
For more information about this program please consult the PREP webpage here or the information for applicants booklet here.
