Anusha Holavanahali, a senior at Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology, spent her summer developing curriculum at the Smithsonian Science Education Center (SSEC). She used roly polys to help students learn about what animals need to survive, and how to best protect animals in case of habitat changes.

To learn more about how she designed and carried out her own lesson plan, check out her blog post on the SSEC website here.
