Ever wanted to do research climate and weather related phenomena? Enjoyed that Drake and Josh episode where Josh messes up the weather report for the entire population of San Diego? Consider applying to volunteer for the Baltimore/Washington Forecast Office of the National Weather Service (NWS)! Not only will you have a chance to conduct real research, you’ll also work alongside NWS meterologists, become upper air certified, and submit research to the National Weather Association’s annual conference.
