Open a Curiosity Door

Intern with the Smithsonian Science Education Center (SSEC) this summer! The SSEC’s goal is to improve the teaching and learning of science for K-12 students in the United States and around the world. Their work includes developing new science curriculum and using the Smithsonian’s museum and lab resources to partner with educators through programs like the Summer Science Academies for Teachers.

This 10-week, full time summer internship offers the opportunity for you to learn about organizing courses for teachers at Smithsonian Institution museums, conduct research, write lesson plans, and more.
