Where in the world are former Smithsonian fellows now? Well, Marcela Guerrero, a 2006 Smithsonian Latino Museum Studies Program (LMSP) Fellow, was recently appointed an assistant curator at the Whitney Museum of American Art in Manhattan, New York. Guerrero will be coming from her curatorial fellowship at the Hammer Museum, where she worked on the exhibition “Radical Women: Latin American Art, 1960-1985.”
