NMNH intern Myria Perez

Southern Methodist University (SMU) undergraduate Myria Perez has long been fascinated by fossils, stemming back to her childhood memories of the Houston Museum of Natural Science.

This summer, she will further her passion for paleontology by interning at the National Museum of Natural History (NMNH). Under the mentorship of Dr. Anna K. Behrensmeyer, the Curator of Vertebrate Paleontology for the NMNH, Myria will visit England to view fossils housed by the University of Cambridge Museums and the Natural History Museum in London.
