Touring NMAI
On Thursday 3/08/18, Smithsonian Fellows and Interns pose after a tour of the NMAI exhibit, “Americans”.
The National Museum of the American Indian (NMAI) is a multifaceted cultural and educational organization. As a part of the Smithsonian Institution, the world’s largest museum complex, NMAI houses an expansive collection of Native artifacts divided over their three facilities.
On Thursday 3/08/18 a group of Smithsonian Fellows and Interns toured NMAI’s most recent installation, “Americans“. Discussing the portrayal of American Indians in American popular culture, this exhibit sparks many in depth and eye-opening discussions.
Thank you to everyone who attended the tour!
