Ambition at Work

State University of New York (SUNY) Cortland history major Claire Leggett applied to several competitive museum and gallery internships in the Spring of 2017. Her ambition paid off when she received an internship at the Smithsonian National Portrait Gallery (NPG). Claire described her D.C. experience as life-changing considering it inspired her to pursue a career in art administration.

Claire was recently accepted to Boston University’s Graduate program. The SUNY Cortland blog recently featured an article detailing her accomplishments and future goals.
