AWARDS LIST 1998-2009

This program was established in honor of the late James. E. Webb, Regent Emeritus and former Administrator of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), to promote excellence in the management of not-for-profit organizations. These opportunities are intended to increase participation of minority groups who are underrepresented in the management of scientific and cultural organizations. Interns are placed in offices, museums, and research institutes throughout the Smithsonian Institution.

The following is a list of the applicants who were appointed as a result of the 1998-2007 Office of Research Training and Services’ James E. Webb Internship Program for Minority Undergraduate Junior, Seniors and Graduate Students in Business and Public Administration. This list includes the names of the institutions in which they were currently enrolled at the time of application, the title of the internship project to be undertaken at the Smithsonian, the name of their supervisor, the Smithsonian unit at which the internship was conducted.

This list is intended to demonstrate the kinds and variety of projects that receive support through the Office of Research Training and Services James E. Webb Internship Program for Minority Undergraduate Seniors and Graduate Students in Business and Public Administration.

2009
