AADAPT Participates for the Fourth Year in a Row at UDC Career Fair

For the past four years, the Smithsonian Institution and the Academic Appointment Diversity and Publicity Taskforce (AADAPT) have had a presence at the University of the District of Columbia‘s annual Career Fair. Held in the new UDC Student Center, SI staff again took part in this year’s event held on Thursday 4/6/17 to promote Smithsonian internships, fellowships, and careers. Tamie DeWitt and Dan Weinwurm, both of NZP and Karen Carter of OFI spoke with a large number of UDC students and alumni interested in SI’s many opportunities. SI and AADAPT are honored to be a part of UDC’s annual effort and Tamie, Dan, and Karen were delighted to speak with so many talented, engaged, and interesting,students and alum.
